| This
is the original ashram of Divine Mission, founded by Bhagavan
Sri Atmananda in 1996 for His growing number of disciples
and devotees. This is the Mother House, one might say,
the home of Bhagavan when He is not traveling. It is situated
at the feet of Lord Siva, at the base of Arunachala Mountain.
The campus is compact but well developed and is designed
to ultimately house twelve permanent residents and various
visitors. The master plan is still not complete. It will
take its own time to manifest fully. |
| The
spiritual energy is extremely intense at this site and
few escape its effects. There is a full daily schedule
of activities and all are expected to participate. Since
it is also the residence of Bhagavan, there are special
events from time to time as well. |

Orissa Ashram |
| This
ashram sprang into existence as a spontaneous expression of
love by the local villagers who were inspired by the message
of Bhagavan Sri Atmananda. How unlikely, one might think, that
a village would build an ashram, when ordinarily one would suppose
that the devotees who were to live there would be the ones to
initiate such a venture. However, this ashram was not built
by individuals to serve individual spiritual interests, it was
built by people in the world because it is to serve the world.
Ultimately the persons in residence are going to go back out
to the world and spread the message to the masses. This ashram
provides the base for the international outreach effort. |
| The
site of this ashram is one of the most powerful spiritual centers
of Orissa. The Divine Mother chose the site Herself, it is clear,
and the message of love is strong and pure there. One cannot
help but feel it. This fills in the third aspect of God for
we believe that God is Truth, God is Knowledge and God is Love.
Truth and Knowledge have been and are being manifested. Now
it is time for Love to be manifested. |
