nnSometimes one goes to a new shopping mall and has to find the directory map in order to locate the shop that he or she wants to visit. Standing before the map one finds the X that is marked: You Are Here. With this point for orientation, it is easy to get to the shop. It is the same with the inner journey. In order to reach the destination, one must not only know where one is going but where one is starting from, and there must be a roadmap showing the route. The Bhagavad Gita is such a roadmap.
Finding the map is one thing and interpreting the map is another. The interpretation of Gita given by Swami Sri Atmananda is unique in that it is meant not only for the seeker of Truth, but for the seer who has found Truth and needs a practical guide to understand and manifest that which has been found. This translation is not based on intellect, but on realization and revelation. It is an interpretation of Gita for mankind Swamiji has aspired to make the knowledge of Gita freely available to all mankind. That vision is finally being manifested through the new program, Yoga of Bhagavad Gita: Questions for Seekers. This program is a gift to the seekers of the world from a living master who is interpreting Gita for mankind. Through this program, all persons have the opportunity to dive into Gita with the direct guidance of a living master. Gita imbues strength to tackle any problem of the individual in life and guides the individual to the universal so man shall manifest as Divine. Gita is the modern-day roadmap for the inner being. Periodically questions will be posted on the website. All questions will be experiential and can only be answered through introspection into your own nature. Those who feel to respond are welcome to send in their answers by the specified date posted below. Swamiji will personally evaluate up to 10 answers and write his own reply to one. Early responses have a better chance of being evaluated by Swamiji. Those replies will then be posted on the website. Comparing your answer with the posted comments will allow you to evaluate for yourself how much you comprehended in the question and to what depth you were able to reach. After the first round of question-answer, another set of questions will be posted. The questions will continue serially. If the first set is No. 1 to 7, the next set will begin with No. 8. The questions will be the kind that anyone can answer, but it may be easier if one has some knowledge of the principles and the concepts that are basic to Swamiji’s teachings. Many materials are available to fill in the gaps of information, from books to courses on the Yoga of Bhagavad Gita. If at any time you feel the need for more information,
